Building contractors for all of London

We take on refurbishments, conversions and landlord work in every London borough. Renting and flats shape much of that work.

Service area

Building contractors for all of London

We take main-contractor work on homes and commercial premises across Greater London.

Flat refurbishments, shop and office fit-outs, HMO upgrades and sensitive work on period houses all call for one contractor who coordinates the trades, the programme and the paperwork.

Tell us where your project is and what it involves, and we’ll arrange a site meeting to discuss it.

Site meetings are held at your premises, anywhere in Greater London.

A city of renters

The 2021 Census found that 30.0% of London households rented privately and 23.1% were in social housing. Only 46.8% owned their home, the lowest rate of any English region. [1]

HMO licensing

A large house in multiple occupation, meaning five or more people from more than one household, needs a licence from the council. Councils can also require licences for other HMOs in their area, so check with the borough before converting. [2]

Flats are the norm

Over half of London households (54.0%) lived in a flat, maisonette or apartment in 2021. Flat conversions and fit-outs usually involve party structures and the freeholder’s consent. [1] [3]
